Tomato and Mushroom Soup








4 cups (two 16-ounch cans) chicken broth

cup water

cup shredded carrots

cup sliced mushrooms

1 cups (one 14.5 ounce can) diced tomatoes with basic, garlic, and oregano

1 cup tomato sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

to cup orzo or ditalini



1.    In a large saucepan, combine chicken broth, water, and carrots

2.    Bring mixture to a boil. Stir in mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning. Lower heat and cover. Simmer for 10 minutes

3.    Add uncooked pasta. Mix well to combine. Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
