Fudgy, dense and gooey, these brownies are a moist, double-chocolatey treat.

Double Chocolate Pudding Brownies

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

3.5 oz better chocolate

1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine

3 large eggs

1 cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp sea salt

½ cup (1 3.5 oz package) chocolate instant pudding mix

1 cup flour

½-2/3 chocolate chips, optional

 

Directions:

1.   Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.

2.   Melt chocolate and margarine over a double boiler.

3.   In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt until slightly thickened.  Slowly add warm melted chocolate mixture, flour, and pudding mix.  Continue to whisk or stir with a wooden spoon until well mixed.

4.   Transfer batter to prepared pan.  Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.

5.   Bake 25-30 minutes, until mostly set.  Brownies will continue to set as they cool.
